Once re-assembly start's i don't want to be installing old and broken parts.
So i searched on a local forum and found a few bit's i needed.
The rear bumper was truely stuffed. So i grabbed this recently re-sprayed bumper.
I spotted some Defi gauges for sale so i got those too.
Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, Water Temp and Boost. Also got the controller.
A new less dented rear garnish.
And of course, the roll cage.
Also grabbed these. I will be upgrading the brakes so these will be used to keep the car rolling once the brakes are on.

Engine Bay
I decided pretty early in the piece i wanted to seam weld the engine.
Regardless of whether it gives you direct improvement or not.
While nothing is in the engine bay, i may as well.
Started with:
I stripped as much as i could down and gave it a degrease. Didn't really do much.
Removing the seam sealer was a real pita. It took the best part of 6 hour's alone.
I used a screwdriver, stanley blade, scraper and a wire wheel.
This is what the seam looked like before the wire wheel did it's thing.
And this is how the engine bay sit's. Awaiting some welding.

Interior Prep And Paint.
It was time to make a move on the interior.
I really held off throwing all different colours back and forth.
Couldn't make up my mind until i seen a few pic's and the colour was then chosen.
Masking:
Cleaned and primed the rust bar.
I picked up a full rollcage locally.
Gave it a test fit to see what it is going to look like.
Primer.
First Coat.
Second Coat.
And the final coat.
I may or may not regret going white later on.
I'm going to try and keep it as clean as possible.
Highly unlikely though. :)

The Worst So Far!
I then hit the part i really dread. Wiring.
Should i just be careful and keep it in the car during the build?
Re-wire the car?
I opted to choose to re-wire the car. Let's hope that idea pay's off later on in the build. :S

Some Exterior Work
Attention then turned to the exterior.
Starting to remove what part's i will need taken off.
First was rear lights/rear garnish/rear bumper.
Then the front drivers/passenger side fenders.

Tuff Stuff
I opted for the "hammer and chisel" method over the easyier dry ice approach.
Cost's less and i wanted to get it done.
The sound deadening was quite difficult to remove. After it had been chipped away, it left an almost glue like product.
This was then removed using mineral turp's.
It cleaned up quite nicely.
I also got this in the mail. My first drift mod. :)
Cusco drift button.

And So It Begins...
After 10 or so minutes i got right into it.
With the help of my brother and a socket set we got stuck in.
It had full interior, air-con, heater and majority of the interior panels.
After 6 hour's this is how it sat.
I removed all factory sound deadening.
